Same Sex Wedding Photography at the Knowsley Hall
David & Phil at Knowsley Wedding Hall
Hello, earlier this year in March I was invited to be David & Phil’s Knowsley Hall wedding photographer. What an incredible day it was. This was my first same-sex marriage since the new legislation. I have photographed many civil partnerships in the past but this was my first official marriage and it was such a wonderful day for their family and friends.
I have been a Knowsley Hall wedding photographer a couple of times in the past and every time I come back I re-discover how beautiful this wedding venue is and how easy it is to photograph at. The building is so large and its grand features are captured in the back ground of the natural photos I take. Even in March before spring took hold, the grounds and gardens of Knowsley Hall look superb. I short run to the other side of the lake whilst David and Phil had a couple of moments together for was stunning… until it poured down with rain and they literally sprinted back inside.
Phil and David’s wedding was special, but it was made even more special because of the partial solar eclipse that happened on the morning of their wedding. A unique event for a unique wedding – what a day!
The evening part was when everyone relaxed and had a party and this is my favourite time as a Knowsley Hall wedding photographer as everyone hits the dance floor. The music provided by Apache disco and the DJ was Ian. Thank you to David Stubbs for assisting on the day.
A huge congratulations to the happy couple and I hope you have a long and happy life together. If you are looking for a Knowsley Hall wedding photographer please, get in touch.
