Wedding Photography at West Tower

Congratulations to Amy and Gary, who enjoyed a summer wedding with real sunshine (!!) back in July. For this event I collaborated with documentary wedding photographer Matt Warrington , as well as my friend and talented videographer Dominic of Impressions. I hope you enjoy my West Tower wedding photography. The bride had her hair and makeup done at her own home, before getting dressed and making final preparations at the West Tower . I love the images of Amy and her bridal party lounging in their satin robes! That morning Gary had given Amy the gift of a Tiffany & Co. bracelet, which went beautifully with her outfit. Gary and his groomsmen arrived at the West Tower suited and booted in Ted Baker, and pink cravats to co-ordinate with the bridesmaids. Gary wore customised cufflinks given to him by Amy which said, ‘see you at 2pm, love from your wife to be’.

Manor House Wedding Venue

The ceremony took place outside in the garden. Flower arrangements had been created by Flowerstyle by Laurie , which along with the pagoda, gave the day a real rustic English wedding atmosphere.

Amy walked down the aisle to Cannon in D Major by Pachelbel. The couple signed the register to Shania Twain’s From This Moment, and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, before walking back up the aisle to Rule the World by Take That.

Flower girl Darcy Ava being escorted down the aisle by her brother Mason is certainly a highlight of my West Tower wedding photography. Each was dressed in miniature versions of their parents’ wedding dress. So cute!

Natural and Relaxed wedding images

Having tied the knot, the couple took a walk around the field adjoining the West Tower, but on discovering some sheep Amy made a run for it! I think the image of her veil billowing in the wind is lovely.

Loved ones, meanwhile, enjoyed a sunshine drinks reception and canapés which included shots of leek and potato soup.
At the wedding breakfast, guests were surprised by singing waiters disguised as real staff. The most memorable part of the speeches was when their little boy Mason recited a poem that he had written along with best man Matty. The cake was a French Fancy inspired creation, and guests were treated to wedding favours in the form of push-up cake pops.

Steve Mitchell West Tower House DJ

Amy and Gary’s first dance as man and wife was to 6 Words by Wretch 32, whilst Amy and her father danced to Just the Way You Are by Billy Joel. DJ Steve Mitchell had guests on the white LED dance floor from start to finish.

Thank you to Amy and Gary for trusting me to capture your special day, and I hope you have a wonderful September honeymoon in Thailand.
